Ceremony of the First UAM-Asseco Business Case Award

The ceremony of the First UAM-Asseco Business Case Award was hold on June 21st, 2023, at the Faculty of Economics and Businness of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

In this first edition, the winning project was “Photo Data Tour Analytics”, presented by the MKTing Research Group of the University of León. More information 

The event was chaired by Julián Moral, Vice-Dean of Research and Transfer of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UAM, and was attended by José Antonio Pinilla, CEO of Asseco Spain and president of the UAM-Asseco Chair; and Carmen Vela, Director of Collaborative Projects of Gold Standard Diagnostic – Madrid and former Secretary of State for Research, Development and Innovation.

Sofía Blanco spoke on behalf of the award winners, thanking for the recognition and explaining how the “Photo Data Tour” application works. This project introduces an innovative digital platform that enables the decoding of social media behavior of travelers and citizens at destinations, leveraging visual content and shared experiences.

Finally, the diplomas were handed out and the Vice-Dean for Research and Transfer closed the ceremony of the First UAM-Asseco Award.
